In this episode we explore what it really takes to build a small business from the ground up. A lot of “entrepreneurship gurus” will sell you the dream of leisurly working 4-5 hours a day and growing a 7 figure business, but in my experience it takes a lot more hustle to find success.
Welcome! If you’re here, you’ve heard about my new podcast, From Finance to Photography!
Before I ever pursued photography professionally, my education and background is in, you guessed it, Finance. I have a bachelors in Finance and Marketing and after college went on to pursue a career in Wealth Management where I spent 7 years climbing the corporate ladder.
To say this was my dream editorial would be an understatement! When we were dreaming up this wedding day, we kept going back to gorgeous pastel blooms, dresses with a lot of movement and overall intention in the design.
Stephanie and her adorable Boy’s joined me for a mama and me session on the beach in Tampa, FL! We were blessed with the most beautiful sunset and ended up with gorgeous and authentic heirlooms this family can look back upon forever.

The last time I visited my family in Florida, I thought what a great opportunity to hold a few sessions on Clearwater Beach! Florida has been near and dear to my heart growing up, I have lots of family that lives in the Tampa Bay area that I visit often.
When Kat reached out that she was interested in a beach session with her husband, Craig, I couldn’t be more excited! We scheduled our session about two hours before sundown and were blessed with beautiful weather despite it being mid-February!
